No matter what the medium, I feel all
“good art” is sculpture. I feel this way
because art seems like the process of carving away the unnecessary to get to
the essence of one’s voice. This voice
is one that I think all artist hope will speak their truth. Finding the truth in a work of art can be the
same as finding the truth in a relationship. It takes time, action, and silence
to speak with our own voice and find our truth.
